Kinderhaus Montessori Preschool started in 2005 with just six children. Since then the school has been growing very successfully. Our directresses are Montessori Certified professionals and are strongly committed to your child’s development and education.
Our Montessori curriculum and the prepared environment fosters within the child a positive attitude, a love of learning, self discipline, self motivation, respect for others, leadership and educational confidence, all of which provides a solid foundation for the child’s future academic and social success,We thrive to “give the best to the child and take the best out of the child”, following the Montessori Method.

We looked and toured many other schools before we decided on Kinderhaus Montessori. The teachers are very strict about the proper use of the Montessori material, which I found wasn’t true of a lot of the other Montessori schools in Calgary. They thoroughly explain the material to the children and we definitely see the benefit in our daughter at home! The teachers are friendly but firm with the children and easy to get along with. My daughter loves the music program at the school as well. My daughter has been attending this school since May of 2015, my only negative is that I wish I would have put her in sooner! The rates are very reasonable compared to the other schools we see. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking for a traditional Montessori experience for their preschooler.

Two of my kids attended Kinderhaus Montessori at the Millrise location and we are very happy with the experience. The teachers are stern but friendly and just what my children needed. I would recommend anyone who is interested to sit in to see just how the children behave. They often give updates on what the kids are learning and how they are doing. I have made requests for certain learning experiences and they were more than happy to accommodate. If you are looking for alternatives to pre-school or kindergarten in the area I highly recommend this school.

Excellent place for my 3 year old son! This is the best decision I made for his development and behaviour. I enrolled him in Kinderhaus Montessori Preschool Millrise in February last year. At that time he could barely speak English, he would not listen (I felt like the words would fly by his ear). I could see the difference in his behaviour by June. This year he started talking fluently in English and developed a passion to learn new letters and numbers. He can now identify the sounds of many different letters and write them as well. His writing is amazing!! Kinderhaus Montessori Preschool teaches students in a way I hadn’t seen before, students learn the sounds that lowercase letters make first, which is brilliant because it will help the students learn how to read faster than learning the names of uppercase letters first. Many many THANKS to Mrs. Jayasuria (the principal) and all the wonderful staff that my son loves!!!

My daughters like the preschool and they are happy to study there. After school, they told me they are happy and learned lots. I am satisfied with the preschool because my daughters are happy every day. Thank the teachers.

An amazing first preschool experience! Now It is second year that our son attending this Montessori school .The teachers are brilliant, and the environment truly fosters a family feeling! Really can’t say enough positive things! Kinderhaus Montessori Preschool provides a caring learning environment that gently introduces children to the school system.Our son has loved every moment!

Both of my kids really liked this school. The staff are very good to the kids and really add to their development. Never had an issue with anyone at the school. The school itself is filled with lots of educational activities and is a clean and safe place.
